Appeals At first Tier Court

Student visa appeal can be made successful with correct information

There is no need to return to your home country as far as your appeal is in the process. The appeal once refused an be challenged in the higher courts as well. Thus, do not lose hope and exit immoderately.

The First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) is an independent Tribunal dealing with appeals against decisions made by the Home Secretary and her officials in immigration, asylum and nationality matters. Types of cases dealt under them are;

1. Refused asylum seeker
2. Refused Entry Clearance by the Diplomatic post in their home country and Leave to remain further in the UK
3. Deportation of the applicant already in the UK

Appeals are heard by one or set of of learned Judges to establish if there is any error in making a decision. If found they have rights to over-turn the refusal. The tribunal's (first tier court's) decision can also be challenged and tried at higher courts, if you think the learned judges have erred the law.

Any questions on the same will be answered in this blog
